this is very sad people. why would people say that. the LORD GOD said in exodus 3:14God said to Moses, "I am who I am . This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.Read this, but do not believe everything you hear or read.For the LORD GOD said in Exodus 13:17[ Crossing the Sea ] When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter.
